Two Vintage Japanese Bamboo Folding Fans (Sensu) For Sale

Two Vintage Japanese Bamboo Folding Fans (Sensu).Authentic pre-WW2-Midcentury Sensus, hand made in Japan. Both originate from one place. They were used as gifts, or promotional advertisement for a prominent butcher/meat shop called the "Nakagawa Beef Shop" a verifiable business in Pre-WW2 Japan during the rise of use of beef there. The artist/producer was Seizomoto. The inscriptions list out the business name, the three digit phone number, #314 and the producer. These fans measure approximately 14 &15 inches wide when fully opened and include a brown hanging cord. The darker one also has the original bead with similar inscription naming the business. Price is firm. Both fans included in sale to keep them together. It's unlikely a single fan would last this long but two? From the same place, 75 odd years ago. They are a set and should stay together.
