One company, that produces contemporary turquoise jewelry for the Banana Republic, ordered dozens of cans, and only didn’t buy it all that year because of the mine's inability to pull enough of that blue in one single year. We already had a number of customers buying it, so we couldn’t supply all that the factory needed. The Kingman turquoise sent to the University with the ancient tools, was geologically matched to turquoise found in ancient Aztec ruins in Mexico!
