According to the Tibetan tradition, the existence of the singing bowls evoluted from the 4th century. Back then this particular tradition was brought up in the limelight with Buddha’s preaching and teachings. As for its working mechanism when a specific stick strikes its outer surface it starts to vibrate and it produces a unique and specific frequency or we can say that a kind of sound produced from sides and edge of the singing bowl when it is hit or rubbed by the striker. That particular frequency assists in natural relaxation and helps in enlightening the inner soul. Those sound frequencies also initiates a flow in our body which results in the mystical change in our body, thoughts, emotions and helps in chakra control. It is majorly used for meditation, music, relaxation, spiritual healing, natural and personal well-being, chanting mantras, religious services, personal enjoyment, prayer services as well as during yoga sessions. It can be utilized for various purposes due to its traditional, cultural as well as spiritual significance.
