Binding: Bound in original dark publisher's cloth with gilt-lettered spine. Spine remains intact and holding well, showing light bumping at the head and tail but far less wear than typically found on volumes of this size.

Interior: Clean overall with occasional light age-toning and minor foxing spots. The large folding map is intact with original fold lines. The colour plate is vibrant.
