This TDPS Reborn Classic revives one of Copenhagen’s distinctive old pipe shapes with its tall bowl and upward-sweeping shank creating that unmistakable checkmark profile. A longtime favorite at the original Pipe-Dan shop, the design largely disappeared after that business closed in 1991.
For its fiftieth anniversary in 2019, The Danish Pipe Shop partnered with Tom Eltang to recreate the shape using an original owned by shop proprietor Nikolaj Nielsen. Production was entrusted to an Italian workshop, combining Italian briar, a black acrylic stem, and Stanwell-style tenons supplied by the shop to improve airflow.
This smooth example wears a warm golden finish that puts its bold grain front and center. The tall, narrow bowl and lean stem give it plenty of presence without looking bulky—a handsome revival of Danish design with a little extra swagger.
Professionally restored. Stem is 9/10. Come and Take It!

I combine shipping on orders over $40 in the continental US, just ask!
Measurements available upon request.
My shipping is a little more than some. I use UPS (unless it's going to a PO Box or non contiguous US) because UPS has a 98% success rate versus USPS at 87.5%. I have a dedicated UPS representative who goes above and beyond in the rare case there is a shipping issue. Three-ish dollars is worth the peace of mind in my opinion.
