This fossilized wood is found exclusively within a small area of Montgomery County Texas, originating out of the Beaumont Geological Formation (Sands). The Beaumont Formation was formed during the Pleistocene Era (Ice Age). A very unique petrified wood due to the young geological layer it is found within.
Items have been cleaned and sanitized, but never altered in any way. If pictures appear to be wet, the item is just wet with water and nothing more. See title for details of this specific item.
