This is a Collection of Two (2)Midcentury Syroco Faux Wood Frames with Antique Photos that are in great condition! Treatyourself to some“instant relatives” and tell tall tales of their incredible achievements!
Each frame measure approx. 12” tall x 10” wide x 1 1/2” thick, with a 6” x 4” oval for the photos. The faux wood is really quitelovelyand very detailed. The original burgundy back-felts are present. One frame has two hanging hooks, the other hasnone. The glass is clear and sturdy and intact, but some corners that are hidden within are a bit chippy.
These frames with photos were salvaged and really muddy when I found them. Icouldn’tbelieve hownice they came up when I gently cleaned theglass & faux wood. As you can see in photos #7 & 8 the sides are seamed and the back show evidence that they are plastic, and not wood. They are not branded“Syroco”, but my research shows that they are and from the 1950s.
These frames with photos would make an awesome addition to any home’s decor or mid-century collection, and would make a great gift, too! They would also make interesting & decorative conversation pieces. The pictures above show the condition of the actual items you will receive, as I don't use stock photography.Basically, they look as they do in the photos…
