TRADE S MARK/SEIKOSHA/SEIKO 8 DAY MECHANICAL ANTIQUE LATE 1800th WALL CLOCK For Sale

Up for sale is
Trade S Mark Mechanical Antique Wall Clock
It contains an 8 day mechanism. The clock is very old, as you can see in the pictures. I don\'t have any paperwork to prove the clock\'s age. However, if you will research, you will find info that this kind of clock mechanism was produced before and at the end of 18th century. The Trade S Mark is widely known as the name which later was changed to Seikosha (the predecessor to Seiko) in Tokyo, Japan. They started their clock production around 1885-1890.The clock and the clock mechanism were cleaned and the mechanism was oiled. The clock was tested for several month. It works well and gong hourly (you can hear it in the picture provided). I found that the clock will loss its accuracy closer to the end of 8 days. The mechanism allowed to work even 10 days, but lost accuracy in 2-4 minutes. Other than that the clock works well. The frame wood of the clock was treated with a special oil (Odie\'s Oil) that polishes and protects the wood from any outside impact, such as atmosphere and sun. The size is 17.5\"x9.5\"x3.75\".Please see the pictures and ask your questions if you have them.
