Maker: On the reverse of this lovely dinner plate is the red backstamp number 34 of Theodore Haviland, one of the great Limoges firms at the turn of the last century. This mark was in use between 1904 and around 1925. Source: third edition of the Collector\'s Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain by Mary Frank Gaston.
Design: Theelegantly scalloped andbeautifully hand painted plate features delightful pink roses and green leaves, in keeping with the exceptionally high quality that made the company\'s porcelain so famous and so coveted.A double band of gold highlights the intricate scalloping.
It\'s on Haviland\'s blank 11.
Condition: The plate is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, stains, repairs, scratches or crazing. There is light wear to the raised points and a tiny manufacturing flaw on the reverse; that\'s shown in the photos.
Size and weight: The plate is 9 3/4 inches wide and weighs 15 ounces.
