TESTED WORKING 1920s Columbia 109a GRAMOPHONE Portable 78 RPM Player For Sale

This listing is for a 1920s Columbia 109a portable wind up Gramophone 78 player.I wound it up and played an Ink Spots record and it played quite well and rather loud. It has light continuous surface noise but it was an enjoyable listen and that noise could be the record, an older needle, or the way it is supposed to sound.As I am unfamiliar with how it is supposed to sound or function, I am selling it AS-IS, but it does play and quite well in my opinion.There are some physical flaws on the case and some rust on some metal parts, but I would speculate that the rust can be reduced with some TLC and it can surely be cleaned further.Was able to keep the lid open which I had originally listed wasn't an option.It comes with some additional steel needles.Listing this for LOCAL PICKIP ONLY for now.
