Plot Summary: Swamp Thing stows away on a shiptraveling from Europe to America, fights off the crew, and washes ashore, arrivingin Divinity, a creepy, isolated, 17th-century-style coastal town. A villagernamed Gideon accuses a young woman named Rebecca Ravenwind and her brotherTimothy of witchcraft, blaming them for multi-generational curses. Swamp Thingprotects Rebecca and Timothy in ocean caves, though the villagers eventuallycapture Rebecca and sentence her to burn at the stake. Swamp Thing breaksTimothy out and stops the execution. Rebecca summons a massive thunderstormthat transforms Gideon and the angry mob into flowers—and sets up a shockingplot twist.

Condition: In my non-professional opinion, this comic bookappears to be in VERY FINE condition. The comic book shows negligible spinestress and some very slight blunting of corners. The cover is glossy and thebook lies flat. The cover stock and interior pages show mild age discoloration,especially toward the top edge. The pages are supple, not brittle. There is a25 cent price label over the 20 cent printed cover price (see photos). Pleaseexamine all photos carefully and draw your own conclusions as to the conditionof this comic book.
