Stunning Vtg Leonard Schmallie Sterling and 14K Gold Signed Link Necklace:

This beautiful necklace is comprised of 18 1" by 1" sterling silver squares with 1/4" by 1/4" squares of 14K gold in the center. The links are connected with sterling silver rings that allow the necklace to lay perfectly flat all around the neck. The clasp is a small hook that looks very much like the connections between the squares so it is difficult to tell where it is. When opened the necklace is 22 1/2" long. It weighs 158.9 grams.
The necklace was created by renowned Navajo artist Leonard Schmallie (1952-2006).
