This is a ceramic tile by Stig Lindberg, a leading Swedish designer.
Produced at the Gustavsberg workshop, this is a rare studio piece limited to a maximum of 40 pieces. This particular piece features the "Woman with a Hat" motif and is an exceptionally well-executed example in terms of color and composition.
The back bears the Gustavsberg mark, along with the inscriptions:
"Framstalld i hogst 40 ex (Maximum 40 pieces)" and "Varav detta ar nr.6 (This is number 6)." This is a limited edition ceramic tile, rare even among Lindberg's works and a Scandinavian vintage piece.â– Condition: Used. There are no major damages to be concerned about, and the item appears to be in good condition considering its age. It has a good sheen and does not appear to have any chips, but as it is a very old item, there are some minor scratches and stains due to long-term storage.Please see Photo's as part of the item description, since they are photo's of the actual Artwork you will receive!
