If you follow me on you will find out that I recently moved a client who worked for the Late Show. He was very well known, but of course I can not give out his information. He was so happy with his move and overheard my men talking about my store that he literally gave me about 100 items autographed by various celebrities he had the honor of meeting. This bear was signed by Michael J. Fox. He signed a bunch of them about 40 for a charity sale. Often times celebrities buy each others good causes. That was the case here. He bought it in 1996. They were selling for $425 back then. Personally I love Michael J. Fox. I am sincerely on the edge of keeping this for my own collection. I loved all the Back to the Future movies. Trust me when I say I have kept a few items. I have the autographs of Gene Simmons, Paul O’Neil and my personal favorite Christopher Reeves. All from this client. I am not selling any of those, so don’t ask. Lol. I would say it’s safe to assume that the value of this bear has increased. It is real, this is not a scam. I assure you that you can get this authenticated if you want to. I know who the person was who gave this to me. He lived in New Canaan, CT up until last month when we moved him.
The bear itself looks fantastic. The bear as well is rather rare. Even without the autograph this bear is worth a lot. As you can see the tie the bear is wearing is what is really signed. So if your not into the bear, you can always keep the tie. I will list something else singed next month. I have so many others to list.
