For Sale we have a very nice 18" Stanley Sweetheart Made in USA No. 104-1/2 fixed Level and Plumb with Brass ends and original factory finishes, factory level and plumb vial settings and screws. It has been in my collection for years. The level was gently cleaned of extremely light paint splatter, common for levels of this period. As you can see, the level was hardly used. Paint splatters were often the result of folks closing paint cans on their workbench without placing a rag over the top and rim. Any paint in the rim would splatter in a fine spray that could travel and leave tiny droplets and remain unnoticed. It has usual wear and some scratches mostly from handling, but was well cared for. The vials are all wet and accurate. A light coating of beeswax was applied to protect the finishes. This is a scarce level nowadays and is highly collectible, displaying nicely.
Dimensions are 18" x 1-1/16" x 2-3/4" with Brass Ends.
