📌 DESCRIPTION

This Special Forces “We Do Bad Things To Bad People” challenge coin brings together several instantly recognizable elements of Green Beret iconography in one bold dual-sided design. De Oppresso Liber, crossed arrows, Nous Défions, and the Grim Reaper artwork give this piece a particularly strong identity for Special Forces, Army SOF, and challenge coin collectors.

The obverse centers on a hooded Grim Reaper gripping a scythe, backed by crossed arrows and framed with black enamel. Across the design are the inscriptions “WE DO BAD THINGS,” “DE OPPRESSO LIBER,” and “TO BAD PEOPLE.” The combination of sculpted imagery, raised lettering, and Special Forces symbolism gives the front considerable visual presence without relying on unnecessary embellishment.

The reverse carries “NOUS DÉFIONS” above a skull intersected by crossed arrows, with a dagger positioned beneath it. This simpler reverse composition provides a strong contrast to the more elaborate Grim Reaper side while continuing the Special Forces imagery across the entire coin.

🧭 CONDITION & PHOTO NOTES

This Special Forces Grim Reaper challenge coin retains strong raised detail, sharply defined lettering, clean black enamel contrast, and an attractive antiqued silver-tone finish, with light surface wear and minor handling marks visible in the photos. The Grim Reaper, crossed arrows, mottoes, and skull-and-dagger reverse remain clearly defined and present very well from both sides.

At approximately 1.98 inches, the coin has substantial visual presence without being oversized, and the contrast between the antiqued metal, recessed black enamel, and raised design elements allows the artwork and inscriptions to remain easy to read on display.

As with most pre-owned collectible challenge coins, light evidence of handling, display, storage, or age may be present. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form part of the description and provide the best representation of the exact coin you will receive.

📸 Photos are taken under high-intensity lighting to highlight fine details, sculpting, and finish. This lighting may reveal minor surface characteristics that are often less noticeable during normal display.
