Description
Painted cover by Gray Morrow. Stories and art by Gray Morrow, Nicola Cuti, and Joe Gill. Moon colonists become involuntary space explorers when the moon is blasted out of orbit; based on the classic sci-fi TV series. John Koenig, the new commander of Moonbase Alpha, discovers something wrong with the Moon\'s magnetic fields and the nuclear waste dumps - but not in time to prevent the explosion that sends the Moon into deep interstellar space. An empty planet seems ideal for colonization, but the sudden, mysterious appearance of Earth creatures is the first warning that something strange is afoot. An alien visits Moonbase Alpha with a device that can provide all that the colonists need... if they\'re willing to pay the price. Featuring art and a painted cover by the legendary Gray Morrow, and stories by E-Man co-creator Nicola Cuti. Plus a look at the creation of the Space: 1999 TV series. How Space:1999 Was Born!; The Last Moonrise; Seeds of Doubt; Finding a Home!; Cornucopia; Visiting the Stars; Endgame. 64 pages, B&W.
