This engine was built by Baldwin in March, 1922, part of the order for SP 3668-3717 delivered January to April, 1922. The booster was removed at Ogden on February 10, 1948. It was retired at Bakersfield, California, on February 8, 1955, and sold for scrap to Purdy in Los Angeles on March 9. - Timothy S. Diebert and Joseph A.
