South Vietnam 20Hai Muoi,50 Nam Muoi,100Mot Tramand 500Nam TramĐồngSouth Vietnam banknotes issued by the Ngan-Hang Quoc-Gia Viet-Nam (National Bank of Vietnam) in 1970, featuring the Independence Palace (Dinh Doc-Lap) on the fronts. These was collected by me during my U.S. Army tour in 1971 and I succeeded in collecting some very high quality banknotes.These are in nearly Un-Circulated VF (Very Fine) Condition, except for the 500 Dong which has small dog ears and small discoloration spots. They have Crisp paper with strong original colors,clean edges, no tears and no pinholes. A symbol of the Vietnam War era for any Military collection.
The certificates were made by line lithography to create colorful banknotes that could be produced cheaply. Thesenotes are done in red, blue, green and orange with black serial numbers.
