Small Antique French Enamel & Aluminum Opera Glass Theodore Starr Inc. New York For Sale

This is a small (2" extended and 1.5" retracted) French (marked on underside of top bridge) enamel opera glass sold by Theodore H. Starr Inc. New York (seen on pearl inserts surrounding the eyepiece lenses). The barrels are covered with patterned white enamel on top which are decorative green and pink flowers. I see one very faint vertical hairline in the enamel on one barrel. The rest of the glass is polished aluminum. There is a monogram on the bottom bridge that reads "MLC". The lenses are clear save for a small amount of smudging on the objective lenses and the glass does focus to produce a good image. Buyer pays shipping and required insurance ($13.00 in continental USA - NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING). Payment is expected within three days of the end of the sale.
