Vintage Singer Featherweight 221 Sewing Machine with Case and Foot Controller
Overview
The legendary Singer Featherweight 221, a lightweight portable black sewing machine that quilters and collectors still love. This 1940s AH-series machine has been tested and is in excellent working order. It comes in its original black carrying case with foot controller, cord, and a collection of attachments and sewing notions. The gold decals, chrome faceplate, and fold-down extension bed are all visible in the photos. A great piece for sewing, quilting classes, or display.

Condition Notes
• Pre-owned vintage machine. Tested and in excellent working condition. It powers on and runs with the foot controller. It has not been professionally serviced, and as with any vintage machine, a cleaning and oiling is recommended before heavy use.
• Black finish shows light scratches, swirl marks and scuffs, including on the arm and bed. There is edge wear on the base and some paint loss at the front corner.
• Hand wheel center chrome is tarnished and pitted. Some chrome and metal parts show light spotting or wear.
• Dust and lint are present in the motor area and under the bed. Some oil residue or grime is visible.
• Belt, motor cord, and foot controller worked when tested. Vintage cords should be inspected periodically.
• The case is worn, with scuffs and peeling covering at a top corner, and the inside has dust and thread. No key is shown or included.
• No manual is shown or included.
