Signed R.J. Nettleton 1987 Handmade Parquetry Wood Inlay Jewelry Box For Sale

Handmade wood jewelry box featuring a detailed geometric star parquetry inlay (a form of wood marquetry), richly figured wood exterior, and burgundy-lined compartments. Signed “R.J. Nettleton” and dated 1987. A note accompanying the box identifies the makers as Rob and Cheryl Nettleton of Eaton, New York.Approximately 13 × 11 inches across the lid. Vintage condition; please review all photos for the finish, lining, and details. On the upper right corner you can see where the wood is a little different than the rest. I believe it’s just the natural texture of the wood but I wanted to point it out. I left the paper in there from when this was purchased many years ago. That was the suggesting asking price then. It also gives information about the artist who designed this beautiful box.
