Set of 6 Steuben Rib Optic/Amethyst Crystal Goblets. Unknown Pattern. FINE. For Sale

For your consideration is a set of 6 Steuben crystal goblets. The pattern is un-recorded, which - according to some back and forth I had with the Corning Glass Museum's Curator of American glass, Kelly Conway about my set 8 years ago, that (quote) "While we have very good detailed records of a large portion of Carder's drawings, it is not a complete archive of information. So some tableware forms may not appear in these published line drawings." The 'published line drawings she was referring to are in "The Glass Of Frederick Carder" by Paul V. Gardner. (1971). No serious collector of Steuben should be without this reference book. The closest example of the goblets in question are on page 191 (see photos).
These goblets were produced during the 'Carder Era' at Steuben between 1903 and 1933 when they marked their glassware with the block letter STEUBEN acid stamp exclusively.
They are all in very fine condition. No chips or scratches. The flared rim bowls have a subtle rib-optic texture and a gracefully formed amethyst stem. Each goblet measures approximately 6.75" tall. The bowl diameter is 3 3/8" x 2" in height. Each weigh approximately 4.6 ounces (130 grams).
