Brewery History:
Founded in 1739 by Johann Wolf at the site of the current Bräustube (brewpub with beer garden) on Dorfstraße. The “Braustätte seit 1739” on the glass refers to this date.
• Around 1820 it came into the possession of Georg Wolf (the namesake on the glass). The brewing site moved to Brauereistraße 2 in 1910. It remained a family-run operation for generations.
• The independent brewery closed in October 2009. Kauzen-Bräu in Ochsenfurt then contract-brewed some Wolf beers (Helles, Pils, and others) to keep the brand alive. The original site now operates as a Bräustube with beer garden.
