Set of 5 Vintage Gaddi’s Peninsula Hong Kong Dimensional Silk Menu Art matched set of FIVE vintage Gaddi’s menu artworks from The Peninsula Hong Kong, dating to the late 1980s.
Each piece features a different dimensional fabric/textile figure in traditional Chinese dress, with “The Peninsula Hong Kong” printed at lower left and the distinctive “Gaddi’s” script at lower right.
All five have been professionally presented in matching black shadow-box frames with gold inner trim, making them particularly striking displayed together.
Gaddi’s, the legendary French restaurant at The Peninsula Hong Kong, opened in 1953 and has long been one of the hotel’s signature dining rooms. These unusual textile figures were associated with Gaddi’s menu presentation and have become collectible pieces of Peninsula history.
