Vintage Sculpture Tremblay Canada Goose Wood Carving
Vintage Sculpture Tremblay Canada carved and painted Canada goose decorative decoy / folk art sculpture.
This charming Canadian-made bird carving depicts a resting Canada goose with its head tucked back over its body. The streamlined form is nicely executed, with a dark head and neck, characteristic white cheek marking, gray-brown body, white underside and hand-painted feather details.
The underside is impressed:
3.5 inches tall
3 inches wide
Condition
Very good vintage condition. Displays nicely with light surface wear and minor marks consistent with age and previous display. No major cracks or significant damage observed.
The painted surface has some minor wear and irregularity consistent with the rustic handmade character of the piece. Felt pads are present on the underside.
Please examine all photographs carefully as they are considered part of the description.
A particularly attractive maker-marked Canadian goose carving with a great resting pose and classic folk-art appearance.
