Google Lens is ruining my collection! This has been one of my favorite oddities for years and I always wondered what the story was. I recently snapped a pic with Lens and whattya know. This is apparently German made by “HERKULES”. The last photo shows what the original box looked like. NOT MY PHOTO, NO BOX INCLUDED. It is from an old sold listing. Claims 40 uses in one tool.
Measures 9 3/4” long. This is in great condition. It has the feel of a tool that was the go-to for someone for years. It still works VERY smoothly. You could still use it today. The two halves separate just as designed. I could make this look better by cleaning it but I think that would be a big mistake. That would erase the history; that look of long, sustained, respectful use. See photos.
