The base and middle made of blue onyx usually found in Argentina & Mexico is very carvable, giving it the elegant shape. This part is an excellent condition with no cracks or chips.
Blue Onyx is a variety of Onyx, which is a type of Chalcedony, that crystallizes in the from blue to green, white, and even sometimes golden with brown-banded masses showing through out.
The brass top, arms and scales have small areas of discoloration but the chains do have alot discoloration. Please see the pictures.
