You\'re buying the STANLEY DEFIANCE low angle block plane shown in the photos.This plane has a 1-5/16\" wide blade.The plane itself measures a mere5-1/2\" in length.The blade has a very well preserved logo that is crisp and clear, showing the #1248, along with the common defiance logo.The plane is in quite good condition it does have some larger areas of japaning missing from the lever cap, and one side of the body has very little gray paint remaining.Unlike most of your cheaper line block planes, this plane has a very low angle, similar to the Stanley #60-1/2 and it\'s like.A rather unusual and uncommon small, low angle block plane.
