Here we have a beautifully hand-carved miniature totem pole ornament by renowned artisan Patrick Seale for Alaska Black Diamond (Ketchikan, Alaska).Traditional Made from Alaskan Yellow Cedar, this 4.25-inch piece depicts the traditional Tlingit \"Legend of Fog Woman.\" Comes with its original tag and signed on the bottom base.In good pre-owned condition. Has original tag still attached,There is a minor flaw consisting of a tiny inner chip on one ear. See photo\'s for most accurate visual description as this is the exact item you will be purchasing.This totem depicts the Tlingit oral history of Raven (the trickster creator) and Fog Woman.According to Southeast Alaskan lore, Fog Woman miraculously created the world\'s very first sockeye salmon from her magical hair to save the village from winter starvation.When Raven mistreated her, she vanished back into the sea fog, taking the salmon with her. It stands as a vital tribal reminder to respect the earth\'s bounty and honor women.
