These wood statues were carved by Fritz Urban Gunnarsson, the artist who has sculpted the Swedish Academy of the Arts annual ‘Adamson Award’ for 50 years. This piece of historic Swedish folk art was crafted during the late 1970s to early 1980's when Gunnarsson was at the peak of his artistic career. Hand-carved from native Swedish wood.
