(an empty cartridge shell!). I hand-painted the reclaimed wood in a rustic red color and wiped the paint lightly to keep the chipped siding visible. Each birdhouse is unique with different chipped siding patterns. It also has a special clean-out hatch that opens 90 degrees from the back.
