Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic antique Royal Winton Grimwades individual jam/jelly preserve jar featuring an attached underplate saucer in the iconic \"Summertime\" all-over floral chintz pattern. Historical Note: The bottom features a rare custom backstamp indicating it was manufactured in England exclusively for the luxury fine boutique Wright, Tyndale & van Roden Inc. of Philadelphia, dating this piece to circa 1934–1950.Condition Details:Jam Pot & Attached Base: The main vessel is in excellent vintage condition with NO chips, cracks, or repairs. Features a lovely, uniform light surface crazing that is entirely expected and typical for 90-year-old English earthenware chintz. Gold gilt rims are bright and intact.Lid: The matching lid has a clean fracture break along the spoon notch rim with a piece missing (please see photos for exact condition). It is included as a free bonus to complete the display profile.
