Beautiful vintage assembled set of 6 forks and 5 knives featuring genuine Royal Crown Derby, Made in England porcelain handles.
The handles have an elaborate traditional Imari-style design with deep cobalt blue, iron-red/orange, white and extensive gold decoration. Several handles retain the red Royal Crown Derby backstamp.
The metal flatware has varying markings. Some forks are marked “LE WITT U.S.A. SHEFFIELD ENGLAND,” while several knife blades are marked “ROYAL CROWN DERBY – MADE IN ENGLAND” with an additional script maker/retailer mark.
Because the metal markings vary, I am selling these as a vintage assembled/mixed set of Royal Crown Derby porcelain-handled flatware, rather than representing them as an originally matched factory set.
Included: 6 forks and 5 knives — 11 pieces total.
Condition: Very attractive vintage condition with normal signs of age and use. There is some wear/scratching to the metal and some wear/loss to the gilding and decoration on the porcelain handles, particularly around the ends and edges. Please enlarge and examine all photographs, as they form an important part of the condition description.
