Better than new. This Rock Island made vise from the 1930s-1940s is a small vise 11 lbs with 3" wide jaws. Very clean, no cracks or repairs, no abuse. This was restored to better than new condition with polished jaws, anvil, and lead screw. Totally clean inside and out. Several hours went into restoring this vise. Sure you can buy a dirty cruddy one for less, but is it worth your time and effort to restore like this one? Do you know how to polish metal? Do you know what it takes to restore a vise?
