Excellent condition! Little to no gold loss, print is pristine. Backstamp excellent. Bottom Carthusia quality control sticker is there but largely worn. Missing the stopper.
This is a very rare collaborate flacon for Carthusia, made by Ginori. The sepia grisaille vignette landscape is of the Italian island of Capri using the capriccio art form. Features Faraglioni di Capri rocks on the sea, a brick gate and a lone roman column with trees and brush, all inside a picture frame. I believe it\'s from the mid century. It can be used as a vase or room diffuser to match your style. Marked F. 4 for short for forma 4.
It\'s beautiful, and I\'m really excited to have found it, done the homework, and try to get it to the right person. I love this kind of thing! It\'s NOWHERE on the internet, image search, stores, nothing. There\'s similar pieces that are a different form and different scene. Very very few collaborations between Carthusia and Ginori exist either. There\'s a much less simple bottle with the stopper around today, but that\'s about it.Measures appx. 6\" tall x 3\" wide at the middle
Thanks for looking! I ship carefully, usually by the next business day.
PS: This\'s gotta be the most un-English title I\'ve ever come up with :D
