Retro Vintage Owl Figurine Set W/ Toothpick Holder & Hugging Couple For Sale

Set of 2 adorable vintage retro owl figurines. Glossy stand alone owl is 3” tall toothpick holder made of ceramic or bisque and painted in earthy tones. There is a small chip under the owls ear as pictured, condition is beautiful otherwise. Blue foil sticker “Japan” intact. The owl couple figurine is an early cold painted hard white plastic design, highly popular in Japanese novelty exports mid-century. Condition is actually very good considering the reputation of paint loss associated with cold painting techniques. This figurine is unmarked.
