For your consideration this week is a vintage Royal Copenhagen tea cup and saucer from theirBlue Fluted Plain line. This pattern has since been retired, making pieces harder to find.
Made in Denmark, this set features a hand-painted blue floral-and-lace pattern set atop a delicate ribbed, fine white porcelain. As you can see from the final picture, the porcelain is so fine, you can see light through it.
Both cup and saucer are style #298. The cup measures 2.5" across (excluding the handle) and stands 2.25" tall. The saucer measures 4.5" in diameter. Both pieces are in near-mint condition; free from chips, cracks, crazing or stains.
