Reliquary relic Saint Agnes of Rome, Saint Charles Borromeo (virgins,girls) 1896 For Sale

This is a very nice antique metal/silver pendant,inside relics (of the clothing and fc) of Saint Agnes of Rome and Saint CharlesBorromeo. Relics in place, and wax seal and threads intact.Datedat the back 1896, it was a gift for a first communion on 23April in 1896. Comes from a convent in Italy.Measures 2,8x2 inch.Shipping and handling US$ 37.00 by insured priority mailand tracking number. All my items are securely packet, to avoid all possibledamage ( look at my response).

Foster-sister ofSaintEmerentiana.At age 12 or 13 Agnes was ordered to sacrifice topagangods and loseher virginity byrape. She was taken to a Roman temple to Minerva(Athena), and when led to the altar, she made theSign of the Cross. Shewas threatened, thentorturedwhen she refused to turn againstGod.Severalyoungmen presented themselves, offering tomarryher,whether from lust or pity is not known. She said that to do so would be aninsult to her heavenly Spouse, that she would keep her consecrated virginityintact, acceptdeath, and see Christ.Martyr. Mentioned infirstEucharisticprayer. On herfeastday twolambsareblessedather church inRome,Italyand then their wool is woven intothepalliums(bands of white wool) which thepopeconfersonarchbishopsas symbol of their jurisdiction.
