Red Mill Mfg Resin Mold Donkey/Mule Rare!Handcrafted and Made in the USA! Excellent Condition! This sale is for a Vintage Red Mill Mfg Mold Resin Donkey/Mule figurine. Measures from ground to ear tips approximately: 6 inches Tall by 7 inches in Length. It is a Heavy and Solid Resin - Not Hollow. Made from crushed pecan shells and resin materials. Handcrafted and Produced by the RED MILL MFG COMPANY. Made in the USA! The Red Mill MFG Company Sticker is still attached to the belly area. T are tiny felt pads still attached to the bottom of each hoof. The Color is a uniform darker brown - like a walnut wood with a reddish cast. The Eyes are Black. *Notice the Tail is attached to the right rear leg, and it has a roached Mane.The body has a textured look and feel to it.It looks like a carved wooden structure, however, it is much heavier than wood.It is Not plastic, it is a Heavy Solid Resin figurine - a very Handsome Donkey/Mule! T are No chips, knicks, dings, cracks, breaks or repairs. No surface wear, scratches, rubs etc. that I could find on this Nice piece! Excellent Condition! Note: I purchased this adorable Donkey/Mule resin figurine from an Adult collector- back in the early 1990\'s. It was hard to find much information about this Red Mill Donkey/Mule Resin figurine - Since the Red Mill Mfg. Company closed in 2001. I believe this Nice piece is Rare or very hard to find in this Excellent Condition. is the Only information I was able to find about the RED MILL MFG COMPANY: This company produced a variety of different animals, including horses. These figurines are naturally all brown, made from a mixture of crushed pecan shells and other Resin materials. They were sold unpainted, except for their black eyes, and have a slight sheen to them. Each looks as if it was handcarved out of a wood-like Resin material. Most pieces have a protective, felt-covered bottom and sport a gold foil sticker, Which has a picture of a building and \"RED MILL MFG./Handcrafted-USA\" type-set in red. One of the artists who sculpted for the company is Pam Talley Stoneburner, of Virginia, she has produced outstanding pieces in both drawing/painting and sculpture. She did the mold for the Breyer Arabian: Khemosabi . Her art work is now limited and hard to find. Her work is easily identified from the character and expression on the figurines. In addition to other pieces produced by RED MILL, she has done include: the Morgan horse, the standing Foal, the laying down foal, the deer family, plus several others.
