Rare Vtg American President/Matson Lines Captain\'s Three (3) Piece Formal Suit For Sale

This is a vintage black formal dress uniform of a Captain of the American President Lines/Matson Lines in the 1970\'s. It has a label inside the jacket pocket that shows a picture of a sewing machine and reads: \"Workers of America General Executive Board ... Copyright Series 1949\". The suit was made by Joe Harris of San Francisco. It has two embroidered gold/silver anchor patches on the sleeves. The cuffs have a gold officer\'s insignia. Also included is a gold satin square in the left hand jacket pocket. The measurements of the suit are approximately as follows: Sleeve length: 17\", Shoulder to Shoulder seam @18\", Jacket length measurement from the center top of the jacket 31-1/2\". The pants are 30\" long and the waist is 34\". The lapels of the suit are black satin and there is a black satin stripe down the outer length of the pants. It is in lovely condition.
