Offered for sale is a rare and beautifully hand-painted vintage Soviet hard-paste porcelain figurine depicting a young girl skier with dark braids, holding her wooden-style skis and wearing an orange patterned winter scarf. Designed by renowned artist Galina Stolbova for the Leningrad Porcelain Factory (LFZ / Lomonosov).

CONDITION: Overall excellent vintage condition with no chips, repairs, or rough spots along any edges. Upon close inspection, there is a small surface scratch (approx. 3/16" long) on the front of her outfit, and three small areas of light wear to the gold trim on the right side of the base (not visible from a direct front view). Paint & Glaze: Glaze is bright and glossy throughout. Please note that the light gray shading on her boots is factory hand-painted detail, not wear or soil. The figure has been gently cleaned.
