Rare Authentic Original Old Mexican calendar art from 1940 titled "Serenata".
Vintage Mexico Calendar art from 1940s. Sweet "Serenata", lovers guitar serenade. The lovely Senirita is sitting on an adobe wall beneath a huge arch with wrought iron bars. On the outside is a handsome Senor playing his guitar and wooing her with his song of love.
She has on a boho top and ruffled light pale blue skirt holding the pink/red roses she has been given. Such a beautifully done image of love.
The calendar print is 15 3/4 inches wide and 20 1/4 inches high. Titled Serenada, with Impreso en Guad. Mexico Jalsa printed in the lower right corner. Left bottom corner has 40 - 508. I think thats the year and number of this print.
The litho is on a medium paper.
I've stored it flat for nearly 40 years and I will ship it flat to you in a protected foam board poster board.
