Rare Vintage GMC General 5 Star Hood Ornament For Sale

Found this vintage GMC General “5 Star” hood ornament in the back of a tool cabinet in my late father in law’s barn. Sadly I don’t know the history of it and can’t really answer any technical questions about it. Please inspect the pictures and video closely as they are the best way to determine the condition. From what I could find on the internet it seems this was produced for heavy duty semi trucks in the 1980s. Overall size is approximately 5.5 inches tall, 3.5 inches wide and at its deepest point is 2.25 inches. No other hardware is included.
