Up for sale is a stunning, authentic vintage Folger’s Coffee neon advertising clock. This highly collectible piece features the iconic vibrant orange and black Folger's color scheme with bold white lettering. It is a fantastic piece of mid-century Americana, perfect for any advertising collector, kitchen, diner, or man cave.

The reverse features its original metal housing with the original decal intact manufactured by Neon Products Inc. (Lima, Ohio) and is equipped with a vintage Haydon Mfg. Co. Inc. clock motor (Forestville, Conn.).

Condition Report & Restoration Notes

• Overall Condition: Good vintage cosmetic condition. This item is a very rare find that will require some mechanical and electrical restoration.

• Face/Graphic: The enamel front displays very well with excellent colors. There are a few spots where paint is missing on the upper black perimeter area (clearly shown in the close-up photos).

• Clock Dial & Interior: The central clock face shows uniform aging and light discoloration. There is a small amount of loose debris trapped inside the clock that needs to be cleaned out.

• Internal Glass / Bulbs: Please Note: There are some broken internal neon bulbs on this piece. Loose broken glass can be seen and heard rattling around inside the case.

• Reverse Housing: The metal backing retains its original "Neon Products Inc. Lima - Ohio" manufacturer label. The painted outer case does show areas of surface rust. The aluminum housing is in good condition, showing just some surface scratches and normal vintage wear.

• Wiring & Functionality: Untested / Non-working. The power wire is in very degraded condition and is unsafe to plug in. It will need a brand new wire installed, and it is unknown if the clock and transformer will function once rewired. Sold strictly as-is for parts, repair, or full restoration.

Please Read Before offerding/Buying: Due to the broken internal neon bulbs, there is loose glass rattling inside the housing. This item will be double-boxed and packed with extreme care using professional grade cushioning materials to prevent any shifts or further damage during transit. Because of the delicate nature of the internal glass components, the package must be opened slowly and handled with care upon arrival.

I try to clean items and make them presentable for re-sale however they are used and some items may contain odors or other factors that are out of my control. I do take extra measures to assure items are free of odors and clean. So once they are in my hands they are placed in ozonated climate controlled clean environment smoke free.

Each item is carefully inspected prior to listing. Any observed defects, wear, or notable conditions will be fully disclosed in the item description and documented in the accompanying photographs. Buyers are encouraged to review all images and details thoroughly before making a purchase. I do my very best to notice all defects or damage etc but in the event I missed something please let me know. I sell all items at the cheapest price on the market and pick the cheapest shipping available to me. I cannot control shipping fee’s. However you will notice I have a handling fee added because of the cost involved in packaging items such as boxes, tape, bubble wrap, ink and paper etc. I use extra packing material to assure your valuable items arrive safe.
