This is a beautiful, authentic Vintage Fenton French Opalescent Spiral Optic Swirl Vase, dating back to the late 1930s (circa 1939).
This piece features the iconic, elegant opalescent white and blue-tinted spiral swirl pattern that catches the light beautifully. What makes this particular vase exceptional is that it features its 100% original, factory-correct hardware base.
Unlike many versions found today with replaced flat, smooth metal bases or missing bases entirely, this piece retains its authentic, original pierced filigree heart-pattern brass collar band. The brass base is tightly and securely mounted to the ground bottom rim of the glass, exactly as it left the factory over 80 years ago.• Glass: Excellent vintage condition. The opalescent glass is bright, clean, and vibrant. There are no chips, cracks, or flea bites along the body or the top rim.
• Hardware Base: The original brass collar is in sturdy, secure condition with a beautiful, natural aged patina that highlights the intricate pierced metalwork.
