In researching the SanClemente Ceramicraft company, I found references to Lawrence Welk, like thisone, online:
“Champagnesmiles – Lawrence Welk, the famous maestro of champagne music, helps hold oneof the champagne-glass planters that he bought recently from William Robinsonof Ceramicraft. Lawrence Welk is a regular customer of Robinson’s ceramicartware. Welk sends many of the champagne-glass planters, which are designedfor hanging on the wall, to many of his friends.”
