Here we have a very early production Buck 650 C Nighthawk fixed-blade knife. This is the rare and sought-after early production release style, featuring the official \"650 C USA PAT. PEND.\" tang stamp on the factory-original matte gray bead-blasted finish plain edge clip-point blade. Unlike later variations that shifted to a dark black coating. This knife is in good condition but does have some scuffs and scratches on the blade finish (see photos). The factory edge is in great condition with no chips or rolling and it doesn\'t appear to have ever been sharpened. The handles is also in good condition with no cracks or wear showing. The original factory sheath is also in good condition with not visible damage to snaps or stitching. The inside liner of the sheath is probably cracked like every one I have ever seen, I tried to get a photo but couldn\'t get it to show down inside the sheath. Overall this is a Very Nice Vintage Early Production Buck 650 Nighthawk Knife, which are getting harder to find every day.
