Beautiful and hard-to-find vintage Jewish Yahrzeit / memorial electric lamp featuring a decorative Star of David light, Ten Commandments tablets, Hebrew lettering, crown motif, and the words “IN LOVING MEMORY.”
The ornate base is made of gold-tone metal that appears to be brass, with openwork scroll decoration and hand-applied colored accents in blue, red, and cream. The memorial plaque is mounted beside the electric lamp, creating a distinctive Judaica display piece intended for remembrance and memorial observance.
The original-style Star of David bulb/light is especially attractive when illuminated, producing a warm orange-red glow. The lamp has been tested and is working at the time of listing.
The back of the memorial plaque retains its “MADE IN INDIA” label. The lamp socket also retains its original UL Listed Portable Lamp – Issue BH 75893 label.
