Rare Vintage Black Lil Phil Phillips 66 Gas Station Attendant Doll Cowboy NOS GC For Sale

NOS new in box. Never owned. These lil Phil dolls were made in the 1990s exclusively for Phillips Petroleum company in several collectors series by the Ames Doll company (no longer in business) These were reproductions of the original Buddy Lee dolls from the 1950s. Each black doll is numbered and only 124 of this series was a black doll. This one is number 087 and it is very rare. The number is hand painted on the back of the doll's neck and also on the box. The box is also in very good condition which adds to the value of the doll overall. This doll comes with the white hat and was one of the good guys.

Additional provenance: I am not a picker, almost all of my stock came from the personal collection of a close friend who owned a Phillips 66 oil business, service stations and convenience stores in Oklahoma for over 60 years. When I say something is New Old Stock that is because it came straight out of his warehouse where it had been stored since the day the promotional stock arrived at his business. This is as new old stock as it gets left over from the original business and business owner they were stocked with.
